Talking on controversial issues

1. The country and the type of government.
It is a sovereign country located in East Asia. It is the most populous in the world, with 1,395 million inhabitants, and the world's leading economic power by GDP, in terms of purchasing power parity.

2. How long has the population lived  this away?
The population is believed to have been monitored and controlled since the most sophisticated and advanced technology began to be used to gain control over this population.
I have been reading that through artificial intelligence and 170 million video cameras, China controls citizens with the excuse of improving security. Those who land at Shanghai airports soon encounter the new technologies that China uses to control the population.

Although Internet access is extensive, and there is an active social media industry, the country blocks IP addresses, filters searches, and even deletes content or redirects inquiries for content restricted to pro-China information. The blockade, often referred to as the Great Wall of Fire, uses people and technology to block access and limit the dissemination of information. The threat of imprisonment is an additional deterrent.

In a matter of economy it has not been affected by this sensibility, where it truly affects these senses are in the cultural and social points, in the culture it affects the closure of knowledge on the Internet or by the vigilance that is had towards the population, in social question I think that confidence towards the government has been lost due to the constant vigilance of the government, apart from sensing news, as is currently done with cases of the new virus that occurred in this country.
4. why have / haven´t people tried to change their way of living?

Chinese society has changed their lifestyle since those people who do not comply with the rules are sanctioned by the government, the whole society feels watched and for them it is already a common thing not to be able to access sites or Internet pages that allow access to news or information that the government considers inappropriate for these people.

Comment: I believe that governments have their reasons for taking these types of actions towards their societies even though these are not the correct ways of doing things.
